Armour first joined the PGA Tour in 1981, at the age of 21. He has two career PGA Tour victories to his name: the 1990 Phoenix Open and 2003 Valero Texas Open, the latter of which he won with a total of 254—still the PGA Tour’s 72-hole scoring record.
He made his Champions Tour debut in the 2010 ACE Group Classic.
In 2011, despite having Champions Tour status, Armour decided to tee it up in the PGA Tour’s Q School. At the age of 52, he was the oldest player in the field. He later withdrew from the tournament.
