Good Day
I am writing about the new regulation about putting in scores for match play rounds? Match play has always been a no return. This reflects the special nature of match play and specially better ball match play. Are you familiar with the dynamics of match play and also the custom/requirement to stop playing once the match is over?
If one was to fill in your card according to handicap for the uncompleted holes it makes a mockery of the exactitude required required for playing the game. A ball moves one millimeter you are penalized but one must now enter scores that never actually took place. The stoke of a hole reflects its relative difficulty to the average golfer and does not actually equate to where I drop or gain strokes. Regards Jack Pentz
