Statistics

We calculate your statistics by using the hole-by-hole data you submit. To ensure your statistics are accurate, we recommend that you submit this data each round. And it’s important to look out for the – – – symbol. It means you have not yet submitted any data and must still do so.

Gross, Adjusted Gross and Net Scores

Adjusted Gross and Net scores, as well as averages, where applicable, are determined from hole-by-hole gross scores. 

Distance Walked

The sum of all course lengths played, excluding non-affiliated courses.

Fairways In Regulation (FIR)

FIR is a measure of a player’s ability to land their tee shots on the fairway.

Greens In Regulation (GIR)

This is a measure of a player’s ability to reach the green in regulation.

Putts

Various measurements are used in determining a player’s putting prowess. They are: 

  • The average number of putts/18- or 9-hole round
  • The average number of putts/hole 
  • The average number of putts/GIR
  • The average number of putts/hole/Par Type (Par Type being par 3, 4 and 5)

Chip Save

This is a measure of a player’s ability to chip.

A Chip Save is when a player records par or better and selects Chip in the Approach tile for that hole. 

Pitch Save

This is a measure of a player’s ability to pitch.

A Pitch Save is when a player records par or better and selects Pitch in the Approach tile for that hole. 

Sand Save

This is a measure of a player’s ability to play bunker shots. 

A Sand Save is when a player records par or better and also selects Sand in the Approach tile for that hole. 

Other Save

This is created to ensure accurate data is collected for Pitch, Chip and Sand.

An Other Save is when a player records par or better and selects Other in the Approach tile for that hole. 

Penalty

A measure of the number of penalty shots recorded per round or hole played.
