Duffy Waldorf was born on this day in 1962, in Los Angeles, California. He attended UCLA where he was on the golf team from 1982 to 1985. He was a two-time NCAA All-American, 1985 College Player of the Year, and was selected for the Walker Cup.

Waldorf is a connoisseur of fine wine and is well known for his trademark colourful caps and shirts. His wife and children write messages and reminders on the golf balls he uses each week. He resides in Northridge, Los Angeles.
