The competition took place for the last time on the Bukit Course at The Singapore Island Country Club in Singapore from November 28-30, 2008. The Internationals beat the Asian Team 12 ½ – 11 ½.
The event was also the last official LPGA appearance for Team International captain Annika Sörenstam, who had previously announced her retirement at the end of the 2008 season.
