Welcome to a new service offering from The National Golf Network. The Handicap Notification service extends the ability for you the golfer to conveniently access your own, as well as any other NGN golfer’s, latest handicap. This is made available through the SMS and email handicap notification service which you can subscribe for here

SMS Handicap Alert

Receive your new handicap directly to your MOBILE!

• Subscribe here and NGN will AUTOMATICALLY send you an SMS with your recalculated handicap plus your last 5 scores at the beginning of each month after the club has calculated the handicaps.
• PLUS, once you are subscribed you can send a blank SMS to the number 35444 at any time and the NGN system will reply with your latest handicap and last 5 scores.
• PLUS, Should you require another golfer's handicap and last 5 scores, send their cell number to 35444 (note they must have subscribed for the SMS Handicap service) and NGN will reply with their latest handicap and last 5 scores.

Email Handicap Notification

• You can receive a free monthly handicap email update once your home club has calculated your handicap.
• The above notification is sent out at the beginning of each month, after the club has calculated the handicaps

What the service costs:

• Monthly Email handicap update notification is free
• SMS notification and last 5 scores:
  • Monthly automatic SMS handicap alert charged at R5.00 per month and is billed to your cell phone.
  • SMS handicap enquiry sent at any time to enquire about your own or any other golfer's handicap is charged at R3.00 per SMS and is billed to your cell phone.
