1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 WWW.handicaps.co.za is the website address of National Golf Network (Pty) Ltd. Please read these terms and conditions carefully as it sets out your rights and obligations with respect to the use of the site and its services. Use of particular services offered by handicaps.co.za may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which are outlined at the end.

2. SPECIFICS
2.1 The Golfers home club (where they are handicapped) is the custodian of their handicap and the handicap displayed at the club is the correct handicap to play from, the onus is on the individual to ensure that the handicap they are playing off is the correct handicap and if there is any doubt the individual should contact their home club.
2.2 NGN has taken all measure possible to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information on the website, email and SMS handicap notification. Note must be taken that the accuracy of handicap information on this website, the email and SMS notification is directly related to the club’s system linking to the NGN central server. This link should take place automatically each night, if your information is not accurate, the golfer should contact their club and ask them to link to the central server.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
3.1 NGN retains the copyright of all material, including logos and other graphics, on the site and the email.
4. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
4.1 NGN may from time to time under their discretion distribute sponsor / partner information to golfers subscribing to the Golfersworld portal, the email / SMS notification and premium NGN.
5. HYPERLINKS
5.1 No person, business or web site may link to any page on this site without the prior written permission of NGN. Such permission may be obtained from NGN.
5.2 Hyperlinks provided on this site to non-NGN sites and/or web pages are provided as is and NGN does not necessarily agree with, edit or sponsor the content on such sites and/or web pages.
6. DISCLAIMER
6.2 Neither NGN nor any of its employees, agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use of, or inability to use, any product sold on this web site.
7. GOVERNING LAW
7.1 This site is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore governed by South African law.
8. PRIVACY
8.1 NGN strives to protect its user's personal information and privacy. NGN will not sell, rent or give away the database to third parties.
9. SECURITY
9.1 Any person that tampers with or attempts to tamper with the code on this web site or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on this web site shall be prosecuted, and civil damages shall be claimed in the event that NGN suffers any damage or loss. Criminal charges may also be instituted.
9.2 The user agrees and warrants that his or her login name and password will be used for personal use only, and will not be disclosed to any third party.
9.3 The user authorises NGN to take all reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of this site.
10. DOMICILIUM
10.1 NGN chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, First Floor, Eastbury House, Hampton Park, 20 Georgian Crescent, Bryanston, 2021.

11.1) NGN may amend these conditions from time to time without notification to the user.
12. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Handicap email and SMS notification
NGN golfers can subscribe on the website to email and SMS handicap notification:
12.1 NGN offers handicap notification via bimonthly email update of handicap change which is a free service.
12.2 NGN offers free handicap notification via bimonthly SMS updates informing the golfer that their handicap has just been re-calculated and is available. Should they reply back with YES, the SMS update with their handicap, projected handicap and last 5 scores will be sent and charged at premium SMS rates to the golfer.
12.3 NGN offersSMS handicap enquiry of the golfers own handicap, projected handicap and last 5 scores, or another NGN golfer’s (provided they have subscribed), this is charged at premium SMS rates.
12.4 Once subscribed, NGN golfers will be activated as soon as possible.
