South African Golf Association
The South African Golf Association was founded in 1910 and is the national body for the administration of mens amateur golf. Womens Golf South Africa is an associate member of the association. The South African golf association is recognised by the international golf federation as well as the joint world governing body for golf, the R&A and internally by SASCOC and the department of sport and recreation.
The association is committed to growing the game amongst all walks of life irrespective of race, colour or creed and continues to provide funding for development programmes within the provincial unions.
